Turbine Blades
The blades are the big arms of the wind turbine that catch the wind, just like your hands catch a ball.
Gears
The blades turn two gears. The first one spins slow, the second one spins fast because they are different sizes.

The fast gear turns the generator. A special machine that uses spinning magnets close to loops of wire to make electricity.
