Fish use fishways (or fish ladders) to get over, under, and around human-made dams. Conservation areas like Cootes Paradise Marsh in Ontario, Canada also use fishways to track ecosystem health by monitoring the number of fish, size, and type of fish that travel through their fishway.

Let’s help fish migrate and keep ecosystems healthy! Today, we’ll use our Climate Action Kits to create our own fishway.
